Career Fair Description
Career Day is a daylong recruiting event that offers networking opportunities for employers, alumni and students. Career Day participation is a direct way to connect employers with Louisiana Tech talent and provide them with information about full time, part time and internship availability inside your organization. This fair is an all majors fair; to view a list of majors offered at La Tech visit https://secure.latech.edu/academics/degrees.php.
Should your organization be interested in recruiting Louisiana Tech talent, you are welcomed to participate in our fair.
Registration and Payments
Registration is done online through Handshake and will open closer to the event date.
Early Registration (First 50 registrants)
Businesses - $200.00
Government/Non-Profit/Graduate School - $100.00
Regular Registration (Registrants #51+ - January 13)
Businesses - $250.00
Government/Non-Profit/Graduate School - $125.00
Late Registration (January 14 - February 8 @ 5:00 pm)
Businesses - $300.00
Government/Non-Profit/Graduate School - $150.00
Limited number available! 1 additional table can be purchased per company. This will provide an additional six-foot table, lunch reservations and refreshments for 3 representatives. This booth option is an add-on and is not priced due to timeliness. The additional table will be priced at $350 regardless of the date purchased and will only be discounted for Career Day Sponsors.* Please contact Avery Broussard at email@example.com for any questions.
*additional tables for Career Day Sponsors will be discounted manually before an invoice is sent. Please add this option at full price during the registration process.
NOTE: Your registration cost is reserved by the date you register. Your invoiced amount is generated by that date. For example: Your company registers on Saturday, January 12, 2018. Even though your invoice comes after the registration change, your amount is reflective of the date in which your registration was submitted.
A registration fee will provide a six-foot table, lunch reservations and refreshments for 3 representatives. Due to the growth of our Career Center events in the recent years, we can no longer accommodate more than three (3) representatives at a table.
Because of the growth of our fair and changes made to oncampus spaces, this year our fair will have booths on both the first and second floor along with a small indoor and a large outdoor eating area for lunch if needed.
If it is possible to host all employers comfortably on one floor, we will continue to use the format from previous years.
All electronic equipment must be furnished by the participants. Electrical outlets are provided based upon your request on the registration form and availability.
After submitting your registration, you will receive an invoice from the Career Center staff with your balance and instructions on the payment process. Please wait to receive your invoice and instructions before submitting payments.
