Reboot: Energize Your Professional Connections

Present the ways you've innovated this year at LACE Conference! During these 60-minute sessions, you'll take the lead to share with your peers new ideas and kickstart conversations on pressing topics in our field. Successful proposals will emphasize how this information is helpful and applicable to recruiters or career services professionals. Consider asking a colleague to collaborate or sharing with a peer who's done amazing work this year. Why present? Presenting at LACE can build your resume, help you stand out among your colleagues, and strengthen your facilitation skills. 

Suggested session topics include, but are not limited to:

• Prioritizing your own professional development
• Sharing of employer, Career Services, or student “best practices” or “success stories”
• Use of technology in recruiting and marketing efforts
  
• Collaborative successes between Career Services and other departments or employers
  
• Career counseling, advising, or coaching topics 
  
• Career services’ role in the rapidly changing higher education environment 
• Assessing outcomes – program outcomes, student learning outcomes, metrics, etc.
  
• Global topics such as professionalism, generational changes, diversity, globalization, etc.
  
• Sharing of research results on career-related topics
  
• Employer trends in the college recruitment process
  
• And more creative activities or topics – just submit the idea for review!
